Williams Mayor state and council meeting in the Chamber of the Guildhall London on Wednesday 6th day of February 1736 in the ninth year of George II. It orders that any nominated sheriff who pays four hundred pounds and twenty marks toward prison ministers by the stated dates is exempt from sheriff duties for ever, unless he later becomes an alderman, which resets eligibility.
