In Cork on July last week the Rev Mr Bligh married the Widow Boyle relict of Charles Boyle Esq, a señora of merit and fortune of 3001 per annum. In Dublin on July 20 Henry Smith Esq counsellor at law was elected Recorder of Drogheda replacing Lord Chief Justice Henry Singleton who resigned last week.
In Edinburgh on July 20, details report Col Whit ford arrived from abroad with the Cathcart expedition. Also last week died the Rev Archibald, Master of the Orphan Hospital, described as a man of singular piety and devotion.
