William Shepherd Esg Alderman of Drogheda and Justice of the Peace for Dublin Meath and Louth counties died last Sunday leaving a large estate to his son and a fortune to his daughters. Markets fell this week on harvest prospects. An incident near Barrack Street ended with a serjeant and a corporal attacked by Wilton the butcher who clove the corporal’s skull and Ryan the supposed dumb man urged murder.
