Correspondent corrects misread claims on the imperial title Autocrator and Imperator tied to Peter the Great. Letters discuss Russian court actions, French diplomacy, and Britain’s response while reporting on Arctic weather, ship news, deaths, marriages, and local prices.

From Lifton comes a late 15th of last month notice stating no suit will be sent owing to a defence city under siege by Moors from the tribe Bites near Cadiz. The document, dated N S, reports events in the bay and references ongoing hostilities.
