Parliament Seats in Scotland Elects Gordon and Maxwell

In Edinburgh Fan dated 6, it is reported that Sir John Gordon Bart is unanimously elected to Parliament for the Shire of Cromarty in the vacancy left by his late father Sir Willian Gordon Bart. Captain John Maxwell of Caridonefs is chosen for the Stewartry of Kircudbright in place of the late Hon Basil Hamilton Etq.
