Yesterday a French mail describes the 16th and 17th of the month as King and Queen with the three eldest princesses and 29 lords parading the city in sleighs, masked on Shrove Tuesday. The king won a ring event, dined at a grand table, then hosted a late ball, while mourning began for the Queen of Great Britain.
