Persian Demands and Russian Boundary Terms in Caspian Crisis

Reports from Milan to Geneva detail Kouli Khan's rejection of terms demanding new Caspian boundaries and control of trade. Deaths and Marriages in London Society

Last Saturday in the Afternoon died at his house in Great George Street Hanover Square the Right Hon. Francis Howard Earl of Ellingham Deputy Earl Marshal and General of his Majestys Forces. On Monday last Richard Holderness attorney at law married Miss Freeman a fortune of 5600. Saturday last Mr Glasbrook hop merchant in the Borough married Miss Anne Smith a niece to Ralph Thraie Esq with a fortune. Last Thursday Humphrey Monoux of Sandy in Bedfordshire married Mrs Bronefal daughter of the late William Attell of Austin Friars with a large fortune. Friday morning died Mr Jordain wealthy silk dyer in Brick Lane Spital Fields.

Clerical Appointments and Crimes In 18th Century London
