London Affidavit Alleging Bribe at Cheapside Bonfire

Fire at Mr. Cooks in Gunnerton destroys cattle yard

On Wednesday night a fire at Mr. Cooks Gunnerton Northumberland, likely from a rush light, ignited straw in the byre where nine cows two oxen and a bull were kept. Mrs. Cook entered to rescue cattle but the bull charged the door and the byre burned with the animals inside.
