Edinburgh December 16 reports a proclamation ordering all Scottish peers to assemble at Holyrood House on January 18 between eight and two to appoint a replacement for the late Hugh Earl of Loudoun. The notice comes as markets show South Sea Bond and India stock movement alongside theatre and charity notices.
Notices call for bringing notes and bonds to Lawrence Pountney Hill by eleven to one on Saturdays for attestation. A sum of ninety five thousand three hundred and serene pounds matched with holders’ state notes.
