In Bourne Lincolnshire two brothers Richard and Robert Carter and accomplices bound for London stole eight horses from a Lincoln Carrier’s waggon, then restored them after bribes. They later stole two more horses from Mr West’s waggon. evidence showed only seven horses were present, and they were jailed in Lincoln Gaol.
