India Company to hold first general assembly in September
From Antwerp August 30 reports that the Directors of the new India Company announce a public meeting on September 234 at 10 in the morning in the Exchange. No sharer may attend without 24 Actions or more. Other items include debates in Stockholm over expanding the senate, dispatches from Lisbon and Leghorn, and notes on trade, ships, and a new watch engine offered in Fleet Street.
