From Paris dispatches dated Sept 2 letters from Ajaccio note a clash six miles from Batellica where Marquess de Maillebois sent M. d Hathvenville with 400 troops to storm a rebel fort. Rebels fled the camp, and subsequent operations by d Hathvenville’s force were met by ambush and counterfire. three allies were killed.
