Regency of Tripoli Landed Peace Treaty and Ports
Reports state the Regency of Tripoli has received two copies of a peace treaty with a Venetian merchant resident here, who sent the articles to Venice for approval. He also secured the farm of the Sale-works at Zoara, 20 leagues away, for an annual rent of 60,000 pieces of eight, higher than prior payments. The Dey appoints the Vice-Chancellor as envoy to the States-General of the United Provinces.
