Battle near Panczova reported by Wallis Council of War

An account from Vienna dated August 8 details the July 31 battle near Panczova between Imperial forces led by Wallis and Neuperg and the Ottoman army at Belgrade on the Temes river. The left wing stalled a Turkish attack. Turks abandoned tents and baggage after a heavy rain, and Wallis advanced to confront them. Losses include 1741 Imperial casualties and 10,794 wounded. Turkish losses and subsequent moves toward Vi palanka are noted along with allied naval actions and other war news from across Europe.

South Sea and financial items from a historic stock list

A compiled list shows yesterday values for various South Sea securities and related financial instruments.
