Fabulous Cocagne Festival and Siege on the Sea Fort

News describes a staged sea fortress on the coast loaded with provisions and animals for a mock siege. The King and Queen attended a grand Cocagne festival at Chiaia with gun salutes and fireworks. 1200 men in bark boats attacked the fortress using tables as ramps, while 60 barks held 1200 soldiers. The fortress was plundered as a mine and fireworks exploded around the mock fort.
