Archbishop of Canterbury gravely ill at Lambeth Palace

In London yesterday the Archbishop of Canterbury lay dangerously ill at Lambeth Palace, life despaired. Mauridy Thursday saw 53 poor receive in Whitehall Chapel the king's arms and alms, including cloths, shoes, stockings, a purse, silver plates, bread, and wooden platters. Earlier a disturbance at the Ram Tavern in Tooley Street led to a stabbing of a constable and assistant. the assailant, a Northampton Quaker said to be lunatic, was jailed for examination.

High Water at London Bridge Rise Early Morning
