Robbery of Western and Portsmouth Mails in the Hollow Way

General Post-Office April 4. A post boy on the Bagshot route to London was ambushed at one this morning by two highwaymen described asjolly in great coats and light wigs. They ordered the boy to dismount, bound him, and rode off with the mails. A reward of 2001 is offered for apprehension and conviction, plus the Parliament reward for the highwaymen, with pardons for informants upon conviction.
