Certain Monk of quick Thought and good Affurance drtk^d bimfeJf the other Day in the Habk of a Prelate, and went to Cardinal Gofcia's, and defired to fpeak with him : Being introduced, fce wbifper'd his Emihency, that the Pope had given him another Bifhoprick in lieu of Bene-vento which be had lately refign*d ; and that having the Honour to itand forward in the Holy Father's Confidence, he had charged him to deliver this Meffage, and wirhall to allure his Emihency, that he might take Courage, for that hi* Affair fhould foon be terminated to his Satisfaction, and be might depend Upon it, the Pontiff was ready to give btrn-Proofs of his good Wifhes.
