On the 18th, Count Kinski, the Empe. rot's Mimfter at this Court, made a grand Feaft a!fo, followed with a Ball, at which Madame Cbauvelin, the Keeper of the Seals Lady, performed the Honours ; i. e. receiv'd and entertaiu'd the Company. The Marlhal d'Uxelles continues very ill of a Cold. Toe Count d'Avejan is very much indHpo-fed ; but the Marquis de Rothelin is thought to be out of Danger of the Amputation lately made of his Thigh. The Court has refolved that the States of Bretagne (hall meet this Year in the City of Rennes; where they will hold their AflTem-bly accordingly, coward the Clofe of September next. The Count de Clermont, Brother to the Duke of Bourbon, is recovering from the Meafles. The Court has approved of the Project for making a Canal from St. Denys to this City. The Mobb have" fince my laft broke the Windows of fbme Palaces, and threatened to pull them down 5 but were prevented by the Soldiery, Mean time the Cardinals Cofcia and Fini^ and Duke Perelli are fled for Safety. Vienna, March 11. N. S. Yefterday 6 or 7 Expreffes were difpatched to the Hereditary Countries, with the Emperor's politive Orders for all the Troops which compofe the fecond petachment defigned for Italy to break up immediately, and make us much Expedition as the Seafon of the Year will permit. Thole ordered to Naples, where we feem moft apprehenfive of an Attack, are to take the Road to Fiume, and fo pafs over by Sea to Calabria; and the Viceroy of Naples has receiv'd the Emperor's Command to fee that the Coafts of the faid Kingdom be well guarded, and to aflift the Viceroy of Sicily, if any Attempt fhould be made upon the Coafts of that Ifland. Two Days ,ago there was a General Court of the new China Company, who met in the Prince-Royal's Palaee, and chofe eight Directors, a Secretary, and feveral Afleflors : And it has been refolved to fit our a large Ship with all fpeed, for which there is already the Sum of ioo,oco Rixdoliars in Bank; but we are af* fured there will be no farther Subfcription taken in.
