THE Affair of Cardinal Cofcia is not made an End of, as has been reported in fome Foreign Countries; but tbe Articles exhibited againft him, have been delivered to his Eminency, by the Pope's Order, that he may draw up an- Anfwer to them, and make his Defence. Tbey are to sake into Consideration, in the next Chamber Congregation, the Reimburfe-ment of 8o,oco Crowns, which the Apofto-lical Chamber demand of that Cardinal for the exorbitant and needlefs Expence which his Eminency brought upon the Holy See; but 'tis thought the chief Matter of Ac-cufation, which is depending before the Criminal Congregation, will not be decided till an Anfwer is arrived upon that Subject from the Court of Vienna. On Saturday an Extraordinary Congregation was held at Cardinal Barberini's, about the Bifhops made by the late Pope : It confirmed of the Cardinals Albani Camerlengb, Pico, Porzia^nd Petra, with Signor Lanfredini as Secretary. "On Sunday the Sacred College held a Chappel; but the Pontiff was out of Order j and could not be at it. The fame Day was heard a-gain before the Cardinals Corradini, Petra, Portia, with M. On Sunday Jaft, their Imperial Majefties and the moft ferene Archdurcheffes, accompanied by Cardinal Grimaldi, the Pope's Nuncio, our Cardinal Archbifhop, the Ambaffador of Venice,and feveral other Perfons of Diftin&ion, went to the Aulick Church of the Auguftins, where,, after Divine Service, the Emperor gave the Cap to Cardinal Grimaldi with the ufual Ceremonies.
