TH � Czarina, who continues in perfect Health at Ifmailow, has refolved co ftay there till the 15th of September next. Her Czarian Majefty has received a magnificent Prefent from the King of Pruflia, confifting, among Other Things, of a Sett of large and beautU ful Pruffian Horfes, with which'that Princefs is extremely well pleafed. Count Potoski, Nepnew of the Primate of Poland, maker a fine Figure here, and frequently entertains the Foreign Minifters and other Perfons of Diftindion. Two Days ago, the Czarina went to dine with the Archbifhop of Novo-grod, at his Country-Seat not far froinlf-mailow. The fame Day, Myraza Ibrahim, Ambaffador of Perfia, fee out hence on his Return home. The Georgian Princes, who are at this Court, are like wife preparing to go home, except one of them, who having refolved to embrace the Greek Religion, according to the Rites and Ceremonies, of the .Church of Mufcovy, defigns to fettle in Ruf-fia, and to fend for his Family to come to him; in Confederation whereof, her Czarian Maje-* fty has made him a Prefent of a large Trad of Land in the Ukraine. Col. Don Pedro Martinez de Paton, Qovernor of Gradifca, has been promoted to the Poft of Sergeant-genera' Je Batallia. The Emperor has nominated Count Walmerodi to command the Horfe in the Kingdom of Naples, with the _Pay of a General. The Courier who arrived here from Rome fome Days ago, has been fent back, with Orders to the Count de . iColalto, Ambaffador�xtraordinary of his Im-rial Majefty, to take bis Audience of Leave of the Pope, and return Home: But we hear that Count Koningfek, who is at Paris, is order'd to ftay there till the Exprefs fent to Spain with the Emperor's Anfwer to the Ultimatum of the Allies, is come back. We have again fent by Water to Hungary fome Hundred of Recruits, with Arms arid new Xloaths, for the Troops in that Kingdom.' Prince, Frederick of Wirtemberg is to go to Sicily, to command the Horfe in that Kingdom. Ratisbon, Aug. at. N. S. The Miniftcr of the States General of the United Provinces has delivered to the Directors of the Evangelick Body, a Refolution of their High Mightineffes, concerning the Palatine Mini-fter's refuting to receive in Writing the Re-prefentations of the faid Body in favour of the perfecuted Proteftants in the Palatinate: Which Refolution enjoins Mynheer Bilder-beecq, their High Mightineffes Refidenc, to fpeak to the Elector Palatine himfelf, or to his Minifters at Mentz, to reprefent to them the Injuftice of that Proceeding, and to de-fire that the faid Palatine Minifter may be order'd to forbear fuch Conduct for the future, and to receive all the Memorials and PrOpofals which (had be prefented to.him in Writing, to betranfmitted to his Courr, to prevent thereby the bad Confequences that may refult therefrom. 'Tis faid the Dutch Minifter added, that their High Mightineffes had the Affair of Religion much at Heart; and that they not only embraced with Pleafure that Opportunity of (hewing their Zeal, but that they (hall be always ready to lay hold on any Occafion that offers, by ftirring up the Proteftant Powers, and giving Proofs of a true Zeal, We are told, the Kings of Great Britain and Pruffia have written to the Elector Palatine upon this Subject. We fee here the Copy of a Latin Letter from the Duke of Mecklem-burg to his Britannick Majefty, and bis Bri-tannick Majefty*s Anfwer ; both which are in the Prels. Hamburgh, Aug. i�. N. S. On the 17th Inftant/ the King of Denmark went abroad for the firft time fince his Indifpofition, to take the Air in the Neighbourhood of Slef-wick. Dr. Stahl, whom his Majefty conful-ted in relation to his Diftemper, is upon the point of returning to Berlin. 'Tis thought the King will let out about a Fortnight hence for Copenhagen ; from whence we have Advice, that two Ruffian Fregates were come into that Road from Spain. Drefden, Aug. 19. N. S. On the 16th Inftant the King let out for Poland ; and arriv'd the fame Day at Korgen, a Town of that Kingdom, fituate about a League from Zul-Iichow, which laft belongs to the King of Pruffia. The next Day he continued his Journey for Warfaw, where he propofed to arrive the at ft. The King is accompanied by Count de Ffife, preat Chamberlain; M. Lipski, Vice-Chancellor; and M. de Bruhl, Great Matter of Nthe Wardrobe. The Marquis de Fleury, who fince the Count de Man-teuffel retired; has the fole Management of Foreign Affairs, is like wife gone after the King. The Province of the Affairs of Poland, which tbe Count de Manteuffel alfp bad, is given to M. de Buro, Privy-Counfellpr: M. de Seiffertir, Great Cupbearer, is made Minifter of State; M. de Hanguitz fyeceeds him as Cupbearer; and the Count de Lynar iff appointed Marfhal of the Courr. . Berlin, Augufi 22. N. S. The 14th Ih-ftant being the Anniyerfary of the Kings Birth day, Lieutenant-General Grumbkov/ gave a grand Entertainment to the principal Minifters of State, and to moft of the Generals in Town. M. de Kedigen, Secretary of England, made a great Fealt alfo upon tbe fame Occafion ; at which were prefent the Field-Marfhal Arnim, M. Bulo, his Son-in-Law, the Foreign- Minifters, and M. Borck and Kniphaufen, Minifters of his Majefty a Cabinet. In the Evening there was an Af-fembly in the Queen's Apartment, and the Court was very numerous. They write: from Lipftad, that Yefterday Morning the King reviewed there the Regiments of Prince Didericand Schlewitz; that his Majefty pur* pofed to dine that Day with the Margravine Philippina, Abbefs of Hervord; and to go from thence to Magdeburg, where Major-General Marwitz performs the Office of Commander, in the room of Lieutenant-GeJ n.eral de Bscbefer, who is very much ihdif-pofed. The Prince of AnhaltDeffau is ftill with his Majefty', who is not expected at Potfdam'till'tbe 26th Inftant. We are affured that the Town of Minden is going to be for-tify'd, under the Direction of Col. Walrave, a famous Engineer. The King has order'd above 50,000 Crowns to be distributed among the poor Sufferers by the Fire which began a-bout a Months ago in St. Peter/s Tower by Lightning ; and his Majefty has refolved to rebuild that Church and Tower in a magnificent Manner. The Prince of Holfteyn, � Major-General'in the King's Service, and the Count de Trux, are remrn'd hither from Drefden. The Grafhopers continue to ravage the Country where-ever they come, withour any Poffibility of deftroying them. The continual Rains have likewife done a great deal of Damage to the Fruits of the ! Earth ; but tbe Weather has been fair again for a few Days paft. Brujfels, Aug. 24. N. S. This Court Will go into Mourning 3 Months, for the Dutcheft Dowager of Bfurifwick, Mother of the Em-prefs Dowager Amelia.
