Tuefday, Auguft 18, 1730. � Continuation of the Anfwer to the Remarks upon the Emperor's Decree againji the Treaty of Seville. S for the Queftion put by the Au^ thor of the Remarks, " Whether it is to be by the Entrance of the " Imperial Troops, which is to pre-" cede the Introduction of the Infante Don " Carlos, according to the Mandate annex'd to the Commiflbrial Decree^ the Spirit and " Terms -whereof difcover all the' Injury done tQ Spain by the Treacy of Vienna, �* that they pretend to feeure the exact and �* faithful Observation of the Treaty of Lon-" don ? And whether it was confident with " the Forecaft which united fo many Powers " by the Treaty of Seville, to neglect among " themfelves juft and folid Mealures for the ct Execution of the Treaty of London, after the woful Experience of the Non-Execu-" tion of the Treaty of Baden $ as alfo of the " Ufelefnefs of rbe Remonftrances and Coun-" fels of the Electoral College, in relation to " the Dutchy of Mantua, and many other " Fiefs dependent on the Empire ?" It is anfwer'd, "That it is ftrange, that after " having reproached the Emperor for not *' being hafty enough in the Execution of " the Quadruple Alliance, concerning the " Security of the ProviiionaJ Eftablifhment " of Don Carlos, ihey fhould find fault " with him for ufing Means in order there-" unto, which he was not obliged to do, 4 [The reft another time."] Dant^ick, Aug. 8. The Report continues, that Duke Ferdinand of Cour-land, who is perfectly recovered of his.late Indifpofirion, is going to be marry'd to a young Pfincefs of Saxony, Niece to the Duke of-Weiffenfels. A Placaert has been publifh-ed here, forbidding all Perfons of what Nation or Degree foever, to commit any Disorder in Breach of the Peace, upon pain of Puniftiment at Difcretion, or even of Death, if the Cafe requires ic- We have received Advice, that the Deputies fent by the Pro-teftans of Poland to complain to the Primate of that Kingdom, of the' Oppreflions they groan under, occafion'd by the Romifh Clergy, were return'd to Frauftad, and reported that the Primate had received them very favourably ; that he promifed them their Grievances fhould be enquired into at the enfuing General Dyet; and that in the mean while, Orders fhould be fent to the Clergy, not to moJeft them. The Counrefs of Orzelska was marry'd 2 Days ago to the Duke of Holfteyn, and their Nuptials were celebrated with an extraordinary Magnificence, the King having already given that Lady a Fortune of 200,000 Rixdollars. The Count de Manteuffel, whofe Health has been decaying for fome time paft, has de-fired Leave to refign; which was granted 5 after which, his Majefty, in Confideration of bis Services, made him a Pre fent of 50,000 Rixdollars^ and granted him a Penfion of 12,000 Rixdollars a Year for Life. We are afTured, the Count de Hoyra, lately Ambaffador at the Court of France, will be declared Prime Minifter as_ foonas the King Is return'd from Poland, whither his Majefty will certainly be going on Tburfday next, by the way of GrofTen and Zullichow ; but 'tis faid his Majefty will ftay there no longer than November. The Firft Battalion of Tall Grenadiers and 120 Janizaries have received Orders to march thither. Hague, Aug. 22. N. S.
