Better Farming Train Draws Big Cut Knife Crowd
Residents of Cut Knife and district packed the arrival of the Better Farming Train run by Saskatchewan Government and CPR. Speakers McKay Shaw and Smith covered dairy cattle dual purpose breeds forage crops and sheep while a Household Science car nursery and mechanical exhibits entertained attendees. Red Cross fundraiser lunch by Homemakers' Club netted $18.

Fair Agricultural Society Plans Seating and Ring Layout

Rink site graded for skating and hockey use this winter
The rink area will be prepared as a skating and hockey facility for the winter months to ensure uniform ice thickness. Last year some spots required an extra three to five inches of depth. The baseball diamond also received grading and is now in fine shape under supervisor D. Munsell.
