The Cumberland parade assembles at City Hall at 9 30 am with the Mayor and Council the City Band Great War Veterans May Queen and Maids of Honor Maypole Dancers school children decorated bicycles autos and floats and undecorated autos. It will travel along First Street Maryport Ave 4th St Dunsmuir Ave to Canadian Collieries offices and Sports Grounds under Marshal Banks. School children must be in classrooms by 9 15 am.

Henderson Fulcher Union Bay Nuptials Tie Wall to Henderson

Grace Edna Wall daughter of John Fulcher of Union Bay married William Henderson eldest son of Mr and Mrs William Henderson of Cumberland BC on a Wednesday morning at Union Bay. Miss Ethel Fulcher was bridesmaid and Alex Henderson attended the groom. Rev Gibson Presbyterian minister officiated. The couple left by the morning train for a honeymoon tour of the Sound cities with a matinee at the Ho Ho Theatre today.
