Arrangements are made for weekly showings of Mutual Masterpieces at Cumberland. Six reel six piece programs from Orpheum Vancouver will cost 15 cents admission, with new films first shown here next week. Afterward Famous Players portraits with Mary Pickford and Marguerite Clark will follow, again at 15 cents, with four other nights offering Broadway features and top Mutual or Universal selections.

Cumberland sports committee plans Empire Day events and exhibition games
The Cumberland Sports Committee held a meetings in Council Chambers chaired by Mayor Parnham. They projected a $500 fund for the day and arranged Empire Day support with Canadian Collieries to cover free trains.
