Serious Auto Accident Near Royston Cumberland
A culvert collapsed on the main highway between Royston and Cumberland as a Hudson car crossed the bridge near the Y. Caleb Dando Jr and Blanche Dando suffered severe injuries while Alan Nunns and Gladys Dando were only slightly hurt. The car was returning from connections with the south bound E and N Railway train. passersby aided the injured to their home.

Soldiers of the $ enlistment plan for British Columbia farms

Two Governments Take Holland Ships
Washington reports that after Holland refused to honor a voluntary agreement to restore its merchant fleet, the United States requisitioned all Dutch ships in American waters while Britain seized Dutch vessels in its ports.
