The Dominion Day Sports Committee met in the council chambers with Mayor in the chair. Collections total nearly 800 dollars and may reach 1,000 by July first. The program covers five a side football baseball lacrosse and many children and ladies events. An extra grand stand will be built and grounds improved under James Smith. W L Coulson donated fifty dollars to the day’s funds.

Grant Smith & Co. reports delivery of 180 tons of steel pipe and 200000 feet of stave stock for a hydroelectric plant for Canadian Collieries (Dunsmuir) Ltd.
