October 25 — Three persons, arrested on ’ voodoo and liquor charges at a Berwyn tourist i camp last week, were freed in Police Court yestcrdav. The trio were arrested on comp.aint of Thomas Parren. colored, of Bladensburg, who claimed they told him he would die unless he paid S25 to recover '.\o locks of his hair that had been stolen while he was asleep and buried in a graveyard. Judge J. Chew Sheriff held that the ; fal.se-pretonse charge placed acainst the trio did not cover this type of violation and there was insufficient liquor ’ found in their car to warrant a conviction. The accused, pmah and William Weston and Pete Lor.gstar. were represented by Attorney John S. White. They told the court they would leave Prince Georges County tomorrow.r •- !
