Former Postmaster Indicted.I he FI Paso I lerald savs: James R. I.andrum of Bo-quillas was indicted by the I rd-eral ^rand jury Saturday, charged with embezzlement of government funds. I’he indictment recites that I .andrum was postmaster at Roquillas, and that on Sept. 16, 1913, he embezzled funds amounting to$1140.49, which was the property of the government.I he Avalanc he will state, injustice to the accused, that the shortage was made good. Ilo quillas is one of the river towns of this, Brewster county. I .an-drum is reported now to be a captain in Villa’s army innorthern Mexico.A A AXJ AA*
