Farmer arul Wife Near Buf* falo, Minn., Found Deadat Their Home.Supposed to Be the Work of Tramps With Robberyas the Object.Indian Murderers of the Spl-* cers Held for Trial atWinona, N. D.Buffalo, Minn., May 17.—A doubls murder, supposed to have been committed by tramps, was enacted on afarm near Howard Lake. W. T. Box-ell, a well-to-do farmer, and wife, wrere found dead by their children between 10 and 11 o’clock. The boys had been away from home fishing, and whenthey returned to the house they found the dead body of Mrs. Boxell in the house, and Mr. Boxell’s dead body clothed in his night apparel was found out near the road. The dead people had the reputation of keeping largesums of money by them, and it is supposed they were murdered for theifmoney. The sheriff, county attorney and coroner have left for the scene of the tragedy. The whole neighborhood is aroused and many from this place have gone to join in the search for the murderers, and if the lea-t trace ofthem can be found they will soon bd hunted down.
