Police briefsMan injured, pinned between vehiclesBy The TelegramA Garden City man was injured Saturday in Scott City after he was pinned between two parked vehicles.The accident happened at 12:38 pirn, at the corner of Kansas Highway 96 and Madison in Scott City, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol.Stacey L. Becker, 43, Garden City, had exited out of a parked 1999 Mercury and was walking between it and a parked 2000Chevy pickup when the Mercury was struck by another vehicle, pinning Becker. The Mercury and Chevy were parked near the corner of the highway and Madison. The report said Richard E. Gallentine, 58, Scott City, was driving a 2006 GMC truck east on the highway when he struck the parked Mercury for an unknown reason.Becker was taken to Scott County Hospital, wich does not release patient condition reports.Gallentine also was taken to Scott County Hospital for possible injuries. The report said he was wearing a seat belt.
