The case of the State of Wisconsin ▼s. Arthur Drescher is before the court as we go to press. He is charged with having induced Mrs. August Boettcher to leave home. There were a number of witnesses from the neighborhood in the third ward who testified to their going and coming fromthe home, and when these had been heard, Walter Dibbern of Sioux City, Iowa, testified that Mrs. Boettcher and Drescher had lived at his place as husband and wife. He saw an advertisement in a Sioux City paper they desired work, and employed them. Later, he said, when it was observed Dr. Stork was on the way, she came to Wisconsin. At this juncture the state rested. \The following witnesses were examined: August Boettcher, Sarah Perkins, Mrs. Bertha Hill, E. K. Hill, Margaret Smith, Henry Stieve, Walter Dibbern, John Thom, Leona Ritter.The jury: Ed Thom, Fred Voll, Walter Rodenwald, Henry Sorg, Harry Powell, Adolph Kruger, Edmund Calvert, R. W. Prothero, H.
