They represented police associations at Austin, Houston, Fort Worth, Abilene, Cleburne, San Antonio and Brownsville.Joe Perry said Monday afternoon that the group expected to secure members from cities that already have police associations and from municipal police departments without the associations.Detective Eartv Maughmer of Ho- ston w as named president at the initial session. Other officers are A. C. Howerton of Fort Worth, first vice president; E. E. Peters of San Antonio, second vice president; Raymond Eakin of Abilene, third vice president; Joe Neustupa of Cleburne, fourth vice president: B. Porter of Houston, secretarv-treasurer. and C. E.
