Bowdoinham. arrested Sunday afternoon by Constable Horace Pottle on a charge of operating a motor vehicle on Pleasant avenue, while under the influence of intoxicating liq-i uors, was arraigned Monday morning before Judge John J. Keegan in mu-nipical court, pleaded not guilty, was found guilty and ordered to pay a fine of $100 and costs of court, $14.01. or serve 60 days in Kennebec county jail, at Augusta.Chase contended he was not operating the machine on the avenue, not l having time to back it into the street , before arrested by Constable Potter.
