D. F. Bell yesterday. The child was beaten to death with a stick of wood.The negress was taken to the seen* »f the crime by the mob and hanged to t tree. The srgrcsa had been rebuked by Mrs. Bell ind killed the child for revenge About thirty negroes watchd the lynching of the woman, but offered no resistance.
