KILLS HIS LIFELONG FRIEND.West Virginia Farmers Engage in aFatal Fend.PARKERSBCRG. W. Va„ July 11.— Jonas Sees, flfty-flve years old. a leading farmer of Standing Stonr, Wirt county, was brought to this city jester-day and locked up in the county jail on the charge of murdering Christopher Columbus Brlnker. seventy-four years old. another farmer, who had been Sees’ close neighbor and friend for yearsRecently a bitter feud started between the two men over some trivial matter. Saturday evening Brlnker. it is said, went to the home of Sees carrying some stones. The two men engaged in a violent nuarrel. with the outcome that Sees grabbed up an old muszle-loading shotgun and tired point-blank at Brlnker. The top of Brlnker a head was blown off and he died Instantly.Sees refused to make a statement regarding the caae.
