We have no solid leads as to where he might be.Both Hay and Schocffcl expressed frustration that the missing men - neither of whom arc suspected in any foul play - cannot be found.It's a frustration that Borger. Texas, to look at horses, his father Don Dirickson has said.Leonard Dirickson'a son saw his father leave with an unidentified man in a newer-model white Ford pickup about 9 a m. March 14. but the younger Dirickson did not gel a good look at the unidentified man. Don Dirickson has saidA waitress at a Kettle Restaurant in Elk City told authorities she waited on Leonard Dirickson and his companion at II a.m. that day. Hay said. But the sheriff said he has doubts about that sighting.She saw a photocopy of a photo. I think she’s keying on his (Dirickson's) moustache. Very few people have a moustache like Leonard Dirickson. but there arc a few, Hay said.Hay also said that it seemed out of character for Dirickson to cat again so soon after having a large breakfast. He ate with his son shortly before 9 a.m., and the waitress said she believed she saw him eating at II a.m.. Hay said.Dirickson has a bushy brown moustache, is 5-fcct-IO and weighs about 200 pounds, officials said. He has brown hair and gray eyes.Hay said investigators have interviewed Dirickson'* family and friends and cannot find a reason for his disappearance.We find no reason or no anything really that this guy would be a bad guy or be in a bad situation, Hay said.We re at a dead end for all practical purposes, Hay said.
