Mrs. Eventus Doud, twenty-four years old, lies In a critical condition nt the home of her sister, Mrs. Charles Bnlsbaugh, seven miles northwest of Peru, with a wound in her neck, Inflicted by her husband shooting her with a shotgun. Doud had acted quecrly for some time and had threatened the life of his wife. It is believed he Is Insane. He Is In the custody of the sheriff.
