WILL BE Till KB FOH MUIDEHColeman, Feb. 1L—The adjourned preliminary bearing of Mike Phillips, the man accused of the murder of ‘•Monte” Lewis, a woman who was killed last- November in a house ol Hl-repiit* at Blairmore, was concluded today. After hearing the evidence of the Chinese cook, who prepared meals for the woman and Frankie Hart vs, a woman at the same class who lived with the victim, the magistrate sent the prisoner up for trial at Maeleod,lie will remain in the barracks at Macleod until May, when the iieft, sittings of the supreme court will be held.Inspector St-ames, of Macleod, heard the cgse with W, M. Campbell actin* for the crown, and C. McLeod defending the prisoner.
