(Neese) Wiiliard, 71* Wn Farriss avenue.Th« detectives, alter breaking into a basement, which was juvoss-ible only through a door about three feet sijuare which door electrically operated, found 5)S quarts of whisky and gin. Some of the whisky was labeled as Canadian Club and some was labeled as “B. \V. D.” The gin was labeled Holloway’s Dry.In addition to the fts quarts of whisky the police seized a largeamount of labels, seals, corks, empty bottles and bottle wrappers. The police said it was evident that the owuer had been taking just the common old corn whisky and after “doctoring” it and putting it into fancy bottles with fancy wrappers, distributing it for bottled in bond whisky .%*No one wfas arrested. Mr. Wil-liard, the police were informed at first, was in Florida, hut they learned later during today that he was in the city. They started to conduct the raid Sunday night but lveld off, expecting Mr. Wiiliard to return most any time from Florida.
