STOLEN AUTO FOUNOTaken From Place of Edwin Artr—* Recovered Along Road.Au automobile belonging to Edwin Aria, of near Pearl, stolen Saturday night, was discovered parked alongside the road between Walkorgviile and Wood«boro yesterday afternoon. The tires had leen toru from one of the front and one of the rear wheels, and an overcoat and other articles, which had been left in the fnachlne, were missing. The car was not dam-HUid. and the blankets and groceries left in the machine Saturday evening were not disturbed. Tlie theft of the car is lielieved to have been the work of spite.Artz drove Into Frederick with Mi family Saturday' evening to do some Christmas shopping. Shortly before ! o'clock he placed some packages In hi- ear. Ten minutes Inter the car hud vanished.He notified the Vl'ty police. ?*o word wlt;,s received of the missing machine until yesterday afternoon when Officer John Adams learned that an abandoned car had been seen on the road between Walkersville and Woodsboro.Artz was notified at once and went to see the machine, which was found about two miles souffh..of Woodsboro. and identified It as his car.
