The beer bottle? and a large number of wine bottles were thrown around on the floorof the liquor store.The sheriff said the burglars took the whiskey from the shelve* as well as the best brands in cases in a storeroom. He said the burglars used either a car or small truck to haul off the loot.Neighbors reported hearing a motor in the alley behind theliquor store, but did not reportany other auspicious noise or event. The burglary occurredSunday night or early this morning.Sheriff Greathouse said Ernestwent to the liquor store Sunday to keep the fire going in a heatingplant. The store had been closed since Saturday night.
