Ronald 'Rj' Young |r.Ronald “RJ” Young Jr., 16, died Thursday, Aug. 12, 2004, in Garden City, from injuries suffered in an automobile accident.He was born Aug. 17, 1987, at Columbus, Ohio, to Ronald Sr. and Tamara Lynn Bass Young.A “Garden City resident since May, moving from Wichita, he was a high school student.Survivors include his mother, Tamara Lynn Lund of Wichita; his father and a sister, Jessica Ann Young, both of Phoenix; a half brother, Jason Ray Wood of Wichita; his stepfather, Perry R. Lund of Wichita; an aunt; and a cousin.Memorial service will be 2 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church, 216 E. Second St., Wichita, with the Rev. Dan Hahn officiating.There will be no visitation. Memorials to the Ronald “RJ” Young Jr. Memorial Fund may be sent in care of Price Sons Funeral Home, 620 N. Main St., Garden City, KS 67846.
