DAY, AUGUST 6, 1953BROTHERS FINED ITOTAL OF $680 INA LOBSTER CASECharged With Possession Of 68 ShortLobstersTwo brothers were fined a total of $680 in Bath Municipal Court Thursday morning, after being found guilty of possessing 68 short lobsters at West Bath on July 16.Alfred J. Pinette of West Bath and Francis G. Pinette of Top-sham, had entered pleas of innocent through their attorney Edward W. Bridgham, when the case opened Wednesday.Following the hearing, which was completed before Judge Gardiner R Deering, this morning. the two men were found guilty. Judge Deering then imposed a fine of $340 and costs of court taxed at $9.82 against each man. They immediately appealed the decisions to the October term of Sagadahoc Superior Court and recognized with sureties in the amount of $500 for their appearance at that time.Coastal Warden Swansea G. Burns was the complainant in the case, and County Attorney George Carlton prosecuted forthe state.
