Sebastian Bord of'Spencer, formerly of this city, is under arrest here for assault and battery and will be held until District Attorney Briere comes up Thursday or Friday, pending the filing of a more serions charge. Bord is alleged to have assaulted and choked Miss Josephine Redig of Spencer, here Monday, making threats of violence on account of her refusal to receive his attentions and consent to marry him. The complaint was made by the girl’s father.
