A, Pinn against Gilbert N. 4 Porter, Rosanna Porter, and Henry V. and Jennie Kramer, has filed an answering petition. The defendant, Henry Kramer, for his first defense denies lt;that he conspired with Gilbert N. Porter to cheat or defraud the plaintiff or other creditors of the said Porter. He did, nowever, buy a lot frtm Porter for which he paid $1,400, and denies that he holds said property in trust for the benefit of the creditors of Gilbert Porter. At the time of the sale it was agreed that | Porter could secure the property again i by paying $1,400 without interest. Porter then agreed to pay Mr. Kramer $10 rent per month as long as he occupied the property. He has neither paid the ; $1,400, nor the rest, therefore the defendant prays the court to ascertain theamount due and render judgment in theamount against Gilbert N. Porter.
