Mineral prospects in South East Kootenay spurred by Cranbrook growth

The Cranbrook area and South East Kootenay are described as central to a forthcoming mineral boom with rich iron, copper, silver, lead and gold deposits. Placer gold has advanced on Moyle and Perry creek. Timber milling and agriculture also expand, with coal beds near Blairmore and Morrissey. Prospectors expect outside capital to flood the region as transportation and smelting improve.
