Cranbrook City Council Elects First Clerk and Sets Budgets
The newly formed Cranbrook council met to elect a temporary and then permanent city clerk. Me. Prest won the clerkship on the second ballot after debate on Patmore and Roberts. The body approved a mayoral budget, salaries for officials, and discussed hotel licenses and police arrangements.
