Pur Center’s Fur Shipments Boost Winnipeg Trade
James Gill at Pur Center has sent furs worth about 4000 to Winnipeg this week. Since he began buying fur two to three years ago Cranbrook has become a trapping hub, with thousands of dollars in pelts moved locally. This year shipments may reach 16600 in value, including bear, marten, mountain goat, lion, coyote, and deer pelts.
