The Cranbrook District Rod and Gun Club met at City Hall on Wednesday January 15 with 386 members present led by President Lester Clapp. Minutes approved, finances reviewed, hatchery progress and game-bird import plans discussed, bylaws to be printed, and new vice presidents elected from outlying districts. A Wednesday meeting on January 22 discussed the disposition of the Christmas Cheer fund. Attended modestly due to weather, the quorum approved a resolution to appoint a committee of J. P. Fink, Mayor W. F. Canig eron, J. Miller, Mrs. Laurie, Mrs. J. W. Burton, and W. S. Santo to hold the fund in trust with power to act with the G.W.V.A. as permanent HQ is established.
